Lucky me, I usually sit at home passing candy out to the trick or treaters on Halloween, but this year I got to take Axton up to the church's trunk or treat party. He was so adorable in his little bee costume that nana picked up for him that everyone had to stop and comment on how cute he is. Ramona and I took him around to the cars and got candy for him; guess who will be eating it - yup mama & daddy. I bought enough candy for about 1,000 kids and Daryl had it all passed out within the 1st hour after the fun started. Next year I will make sure that I pass out the candy. We had kids coming back 3 or 4 times to our car and stating that we had the best candy out of everyone. It didn't hurt that Daryl was giving the kids about 6 candy bars each.

Axton's Blessing

Grandpa Funk blessed my precious little Axton today, 11/02/08 with Jenny, Jordan, Chris, Daryl & I, Grandma & Grandpa Funk and Jordan's family & friends all in attendance. It was truly a spiritual and moving experience for all of us. I am blessed to have such a wonderful and loving family and especially grateful to grandma & grandpa for making the long trip down here for the occasion.
